On Sunday 1st December, our school came alive with the magic of the festive season during the much-anticipated event, Ejjew Oqogħdu għax San Niklaw se jgħaddi minn haw’.
The day kicked off at 11:30 a.m. with a joyous Christmas parade led by our talented children, marching from St Francis Square to the school.
Once at school, visitors were greeted with a number of attractions designed to bring holiday cheer to everyone. Highlights included:
- Music and Performances: Our children captivated the audience with beautiful Christmas carols and solos, spreading the warmth of the season through song.
- Thrilling Activities: The zipline, mega slide, Segway rides, and go-kart track added an element of adventure for the kids.
- Creative Workshops: From crib-making to writing letters to Santa and making hand-made jewellery, creativity flourished in every corner.
- Festive Delights: A bustling bake sale, food stalls, and a poinsettia stall ensured no one left empty-handed or with an empty stomach.
- Family Fun: The bouncy castle, Nerf gun games, rope walk, glitter tattoos and pony rides were favorites among families.
We were also proud to provide a prayer space for moments of reflection during the hustle and bustle of the festivities.
The event’s success was made possible by the dedication and hard work of our children, educators, and all those who supported behind the scenes. Thank you to everyone who joined us to make this event an incredible celebration of community, joy, and the spirit of Christmas. We look forward to creating even more cherished memories together in the future!
